About Myrna Miranda - Carlos MS, FNP-C

Texas Board Certified in Family Practice

I was born in the West Texas town of El Paso, where I received my Bachelors of Science degree in nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso. To further my education I relocated to Dallas, Texas and received my Master degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas Woman University. I am certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in Texas. While I attended school in Dallas, I worked in the intensive care unit and emergency room at Methodist Hospital. During this time I developed a love of caring for children and decided to focus my practice in pediatrics. As a mother I understand the worries that parents experience when their children are ill. My goal is to keep parents well informed and they’re children healthy. When I am not busy taking care of little ones I spend my time with three wonderful boys of my own. I am excited to be part of the Pedi-Place family and thank the community for allowing me to be a part of your children’s health care needs.
